SHOULD
I TELL AN ADULT?
Yes!
Find someone you trust to talk to. If you talk to a
teacher or a youth worker you trust, they can support
you. You need to know that if you tell them that another
adult is hurting you they will not be able to keep this
Secret for you. They must pass the information on to
someone who can help you and your family. This does
not stop them from continuing to support you.
If you tell you will find that you are not alone in
your problems lots of children are in the same situation.
Things can get better.
